I had two 12 in mine. i had to get a custom box. i couldnt find a box to fit in the back. they had to build it in the trunk.

dang. so i guess i may not be getting that 12" put in there. it's a shame too. 1600watt > 500watt.

the box my friend had was a custom one, but it's just a big block.

You can try building one yourself. its easy. I was just lazy. I looked all weekend and could not find a box so i just went to a shop. the shop guy is the one that told me it had to be custom made.

that'd be good, but i don't wanna buy another sub. it looks like most of the boxes there for stangs are for dual subs.

i think i'm just gonna get another 600watt sub like i have and use that 1600watt amp. think that'd be ok or would the amp blow them? i obviously wouldn't crank the amp up.

I have two 12s in the back of mine. It originally was one long rectangular box that couldnt fit, got the setup for free from a friend. I just cut it in half, put them in the truck and glued it back together.
