No you didn't. You let Tweeter, or some other audio store tell you what you should get. How you let them talk you into w6 v2's I don't know, but you did. I would of sold you my system for $1200 and you would of destroyed your system with ease.

you cannot say that the W6s are BAD subs...there are better sounding ones out there for cheaper...so what...if people don't know about them they go with what they have heard is good...you can't say his system isn't BAD...at least he doesn't have caps....

ANYway...dude I know you got the box and everything installed for cheap but you should have had him flush the box up against the back seat and mounted the amps on the back of the box...woulda saved you a LOT of trunkspace...I know it's a b*tch becaue the S197s have that fricken incline before the seats but with some quick measurements it could have been done...check out my box at my Car Domain...I had mine done at a very reputable shop and they also fabbed me up a trim panel to completely flush in my box...they also bolted it down with L-brackets to the bulkhead so it doesn't move at all...I know I was overcharged for labor (they have had 22 cars featured in Car Audio Mag)...and I'm not really happy with my speakers...but it's a pretty decent system...i will probably be replacing my speakers with the Elemental Designs components soon
