Never heard of them.... JL is a tough sub to beat, you know! Are you sure this is an acurate claim or just some cheap sub site you found? Just because it has low Hz doesn't mean it can produce the DBs you need...... I would have to see, hear, and watch these subs for a year or so before I ever put my money into them.

How did you hear about them?

Yes Hiss, they arent the first, but they are the top. No not ebay, will suprise the crap outta you actually. They will hold 1500 rms daily, and 1 has hit a 153 on a TL mic. rust me, the MAG's are well worth it, and the IA 20.1 amp is one of the best amps out right now, will hold a daily ohm load of .2 ohms. Hard to beat the products on this site.

1. For a pure SQ sub, yes the SI MAG is a pretty bad sub. 2. actually 1200-1500 rms is what she likes. 3. I didnt say anything about the loudest sub, there is ALWAYS someone thinking one sub is the loudest sub ever. There are different cats in subs. You have SPL, SQL, and SQ. YEs the IA is one of the best amps out right now. To hold a .2 ohm load daily and not get hot is pretty good, and the new 40.1 is pretty massive. The new Soundstream XXX 10,000 is a powerful amp, BUT to produce clean watts and handle an ohm load that low is hard to find. Im glad you know something about audio, but have you even heard of IA or SI, and have you heard them personally?? Also we are waiting on the XXX 18 from Soundstream and see what it does, and the new IA SPL sub will hold 25,000 rms, so its going to be pretty loud. If you will look at the specs of a sub and know what they mean, you will understand why the SI MAG is such a hard sub to beat, and for the money as well.

Low-HZ carries Adire as well, and I agree with your opinion as well. BUT on RE, since USamps bought them out, prices have doubled. Quality is great but, whew, they are another JL now. Soundspliter's are nice, but I dont like the TC sounds ( who builds the Soundsplinter subs) parameters. They use to build the SI MAGs, butthey didnt meet the standards of what SI wanted so they no longer build the SI MAG's.
