Did this in my daily driver. I hooked it up to the Ignition wire for the radio just spliced it into the factory cable. I am going to install a switch here in a lil while so I can turn it off when kids are in the car with me.
ok , i hooked into the fuse that operates when key is turned on. Amp powers up, but no sound from any speaker. if i unplug my speaker input from amp and plug it back in , the speakers and sub come on. but if i turn car off and turn back on, have to repeat, unplug plug back in....???????
any suggetions?

Well the bold font got my attention but unfortunatly i don't know what to tell you. I had a problem with mine when i hooked it up to factory HU the first time i turned it on just had a steady tone on it but i pulled the sensor cable and put it back on and it works fine.....................as far as inputs on my set up i spliced a set of RCA's into my rear speaker wires. How do you have your input to the amp set up?
