a switch will not help the fact that you have no sound comming out of the amp. You need to test your input by tring a different source. You could use a walkman/mp3 player if you have a headphone to rca jack.

it means that the amp is turning on already, but he has no sound comming out of it. a switch can be added to turn the amp on and off but if there is no sound comming out of the amp it will not help his current problem.

Well had my better half take a look at it. He found my ground speaker input on one was hooked to the postive on the other and the amp was not bridged.[&o] I was sure i had it right, well it is working now!
