Most American-style radios have one or two clips on each side if the radio, under the trim ring, that will release it. Then you can reach into the bracket and unbend the tabs that keep it in the dash (or, likely, a size adaptor) to take that out if you need to. (The bracket always goes with the stereo as far as selling it, but if you're just taking the stereo out to do something with the wiring, you don't need to do that)

they have a set of "keys" that slide along the side of the radio to release the clips, then it will pull out from the front. IF you don't have the keys you can probably find a local dealer and ask him if he can pull it. It only takes 2 seconds and I have done it for countless customers for free, don't let them charge ya.......
I've always gotten mine out without needing any tools other than possibly a flathead screwdriver (usually not even that)... Only time I've needed specialized tools are for stereos that take DIN pullers.
hmm this is pissin me off because i cant get it out... my display screen is not working anymore which reallly pisses me off because i cant tell what im doing ... are their any fuses that would be out that would make my display turn off???
It doesn't show anything? Was there an orange wire on the alpine hrns? Pull the face off and check the copper connections on the back to see if anything looks wierd. If they are dirty you can clean them with a pencil eraser.
