Default Question about fuses

Hey all, I'm wondering how to tell what size fuse you need for an accessory, etc?

I have a fox body mustang, I am going to be running a higher amp alternator and am wondering how to pick the optimal fuse for this setup. I know that alot of ford cars that came with the 3gen alternator had 175amp wafer fuses. How do pick one that won't burn up the system?

Default RE: Question about fuses

the size of the fuse depends on how much current the accesory is going to pull. What are you wanting to install?
