Default CD Error?

I need some help with this problem. I have a 2003 GT with the Mach audio system and the 6 disc changer. The changer used to play CD's and work fine. Then all of a sudden It mysteriously stops working. When I try to eject a CD, it says CD Error on the display. When I try to change to different disc tray, it says CD error on the display. When I try to load a CD, it says CD error on the display. The changer won't read my discs' or anything. Whenever I try to do anythig that is related to playing a CD, that CD Error message is displayed. The changer wont play a CD or even move to the next tray. I tired of listening to the damn radio. What can I do to resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I tried that, but It didn't work. I'll try it again though. Did you stick anything inside the slot to get it to work?

Yea, they were burnt CD's. But I don't think that would cause the system to mess up would it? .. They worked just fine for the past six months that I've had my car. Then one day it just didn't want to work. But it's not the CD's I'm worried about. I could care less about them. I just want to know how I could get my system up and running. Maybe reset it or something. Anyone know how to do that?

happens EVERY time we use one with a label in our 02 vert, and about a third of the time without a label. NEVER put a CD with a label in ANY car CD player

I took it in to get fixed and they told me it wasn't even covered in the warranty, and wanted 400 to send it back in to Ford and fix it. ..That's BS.
