Default mach 460 wireharness please help

heres the problem. I used the harness for the mustang that says its for 03and up on the package. it has the amp plug with rca cables and the main plug on it. I hooked up everything perfect but noticed that theres no wires to on the harness to hook up the front 2 speakers (lower) only the top tweeters have wires. So now i have a cd player that plays only the tweeters up front. Im positive i got the only harness and the right one, but i guess not? Is there a way to rewire this or what? Is this harness useless?

what year?

The tweeters are run off the decks power normally, and the sub goes through the amp. check out page 2 on my cardomain page as it explains the 460 a little better. Mine is a 94' but other years are still similar.

are you sure the bottom speakers are not playing? Put yer head next to them to see. They could be on but very weak as the factory amp is use to a pretty high input voltage on them and your new deck may not be supplying enough power. If the sound is weak you need to check into gettin a line driver. If there is no sound then you may need to make sure you have the factory amplifier turn on wired to the decks remote turn on.

ok apparently im stupid. I just went out there and hooked both the amp wires from the harness to the 1 remote wire from the head unit. Before i had the 2 amp wires to 2 diffrent wires. But not it works fine. Only thing is when the volume is all the way down i hear a annoying buzz sound. any suggestions?

does the sound vary with the engine rpms? I would try using a little bigger wire and gounding the decks ground to a clean part of the chassis. Also take look to see if there is a black wire with a white stripe labeled "amp ground". If there is make sure it is grounded......

How does the bass sound? It would be wise to get some capacitors to use as high pass x-overs for the top front speakers, and sometimes the rca sub signal needs a boost......

Almost there......
