Default Alpine IVA-W200

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to any how-to's on how to wire up this headunit to provide all the features while the car is moving. I haven't had any luck searching on here or the internet on where to place the wires so you don't have to put the parking brake on. Thanks in advance.

Just find a constant ground and connect the parking brake wire to that, tell me if it solves your problem.

I hope to be getting this unit soon, it ****in' rocks.

Anyway, do what 2002 232 stang said. It should work.

When I had a Clarion flip screen, I just took that one e brake wire (which I was "supposed" to attach it in like three different places) and connected it directly to where the sensor was mounted for my e brake. That worked for me, but that was in my Cavalier. I haven't gotten down and dirty with my 06 yet.

Yeah seems alpine did away with the grounding work around. So i ended up buying a bypass module on ebay, hopefully that will solve my problem.

Their older models you could just ground the wire on, but yeah these new models require a module.
