price quote on tint/remote start

I got a $500 price quote from a place I trust to install a remote start kit(which I already own) and tint all of my windows (minus the windsheild) at the same time. This is with my (returning customer discoun). Is this a good deal?

I bought an auto start and had it installed in my wifeâ€™s Suburban for $469.00 and $79.00 to tint the front windows. We bought the best remote start they had and had to buy an adaptor for the Chevrolet for $99.00 and the tint has a lifetime warranty. So I am thinking that you are on the high side, especially if you have the remote start. I am not a pro just a consumer, you will probably get better info from the Pros.

depends on the alarm and the shop installing it. Ask how they make their connections. Solder, crimp, t-tap(NO!)??? The best alarm in the world installed by the worst shop is not worth anything......

Thanks, the quote pre-discount was like $350 for the install, $300 for tint. There is a waranty. The offer made to me was $500 out the door no tax. So it would have been about $700 normally.
