Default Need help hooking up aftermarket headunit to Mach 460 system

I bought what is supposed to be the right connector to hook up my Pioneer headunit to my Mach 460 system but I don't think it sounds right. Theres also a second harness that was hooked up to the back of the 6 cd changer that is going unused. I'm not sure what that was used for though. All the speakers work but they just sound really plain and with no bass. Like maybe the amps arn't working. If anyone has a wiring diagram that would help.

where did you purchase your radio from?? I purchased my Alpine 9855 from Best Buy and I ended up having them hooking it up. They gave me the wrong wiring kit when i first bought it and when i got home to wire it in i was pissed. So i drove back up there and evidently it was free for them to install it. Just costed me 35 bucks for the right connectors. My factory amps and everything works great!! Much louder than stock.....

I just need to know what the wires are on the smaller harness. I can just splice them if I knew what they were.
