does anyone have any experience with cobra radar detectors? wondering on their dependability, the valentino's are too expensive

I have one, its ok, When ur not payin attention they help. Got me out of couple of them the last 2 weeks. Helps when they sneak up behind you and ur not paying attention.

Then dont rely on a cobra detector...if you really want to rely one something while speeding just remember, you get what you pay for.

Yeah, sometimes it's pretty useful, but a lot of times they don't seem to pick up the radar until it's almost too late. You get what you pay for I guess. I spend about $140 on mine and it was the best one Cobra had to offer.

There is a readon Valantine is expensive. IT WORKS. Trust me I have one in all my cars and it has more than paid for themselves. Would not be without it. They are expensive but they never make a mistake, Radar, Lazer, Ladar, X band, K band what ever. I have had Passports and other better brands and no detector beats Valatine...
