I am considering purchasing this navigation HU with the IPOD control to replace my factory shaker 500 system in an 06 GT Convertible.
I did a search about a week ago and read some info about the amp control and needing a voltage regulator. However, I can no longer find the post when I search for it. So here are a few questions. Hopefully someone can help.
1. Does anyone know if I order from crutchfield will they provide me with all wiring harnesses I need including voltage regulator?
2. Opinions on the sound quality of this head unit with the S500 system factory speakers/amps?
3. I heard some complaints about the IPOD controls. Anyone have any experience with this unit and the ipod controls?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken

The Crutchfield cust. service is great so they should be able to let you know about the wiring harness and the sound will be fine. Not sure about the iPod controls.
