Ground Wires..
Im having a problem with my Mach460 on my 2000 Stang. Im thinking its the ground wires because the radio does an annoying pop when it turns off and off. Does anyone know where they are?

the amps are in the back below the package shelf. If you replaced the factory HU then you may need to put a resistor in the remote turn on wire.

I replacd the amps and the head unit and it still does that.
Where does the resistor go, were and which wire?
Thanks.

Would this be the same thing that causes a Shriek? When I power on the head unit (Pioneer "Premier") in my car, it makes a horrible shrieking sound. After that everything is OK.

RE: Ground Wires..
you wire it in series, on the remote turn on wire.

Yes, the deck (Pioneer DEH-P930) is powering the subs. There is no additional amp in the system. They sound fine. Nice and loud. The only (major) issue with the deck is that shriek.
I've got to pull the whole thing out anyway, there's a wiring problem with the changer (Pioneer CDX-PD6) giving me an error 55 on the head unit. I pulled the changer out last night and saw sparks coming from the wiring harness underneath. YIKES! probably the wires aren't properly taped / wrapped, but that scares me. I'm planning on redoing the whole thing to get it right.
Now all I have to do is figure out which one is the remote turn on wire...

Thanks a million. I pulled the radio and the wiring harness this weekend. I resoldered all of the connections, eliminated any bad splices and crimp connects, and soldered in a resistor (1KOhm) across the Orange, Red and Blue wires. The red and orange wires already had resistors across the wires from the factory harness. I plugged everything back in, and the Shriek was gone. The sound system sounds awesome now, crystal clear and no pops, sputters or shrieks.
Thanks for all of your help,
Dave
