Hey just went to install my HIDs. I bought the Bi-Xenon kit and it has 4 ballasts!!! One for each bulb (there are actually two Xenon filled bulbs in each....bulb....hard to explain but each one needs to be ignited). Where do you guys mount your ballasts? I am thinking about just having my stereo shop do it and have them build me a rack for all four ballasts to keep them out of the way. Unless there is another place that you guys suggest.

 

I ghetto installed mine but I only have 2 ballasts I would have no idea where to put 4 of them.

 

lol if i only had two...duct tape most likely would have been the mounting device of choice....or heavy duty velcro....but having four i may just have a rack built and mount all four next to each other..and then mount the rack right behind the radiator or something

 

foo why do u have 4? whats bi xenon? it that the kind with highbeams lol

 

what kit did you buy? do you have a link?

 

Thats what I was thinking, if its a dual bulb type set up it can be for high/low beams. Building a rack for it maybe the best idea... right now mine are zip tied to my CAI and my fuse thingy under my hood. It works for me.
