Default Mach 460 redo

I own the mach 460 system and a week ago my (stock) base speakers went out and blew a fuse. We think a wire shorted out and the car needs to be rewired. If i do that will i need all 8 new speakers or can they wire out to the old ones. If they do wire to the old one will they blow easily?
Any info on what to do would help seems to be getting up to a few grand to fix the problem.
Thanks.

check fuses first. I really would not recommend repairing the factory equipment...

sounds like something is shorting out. The next step I would take is to check the speaker/sub and disconnect it from the amp, and replace the fuse to see if it blows.......

removed the amp wiring completly and again the fuse blew... so i took out the radio and put in aother no wiring to the amps or head unit and it blew.
