Default Pioneer Nav System -- any reviews?

I'm planning on having the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 navigation system installed on Friday. Anything special I need to make sure the installer knows? Is there any way to make the speed volume control work with it?
I hope it's worth $2500+ when I get done with it... If it's not gonna be, let me know now!
Thanks

ask if he is going to bypass the video in motion lockout.
Okay, thanks, yeah that would be annoying. Hopefully that would also take care of any problems with having to stop the car to input directions, too. (If that is one of the "safety features" on that model).
