Default Wiring / Amps

I have 6x9 Lightning Audios in the front and some blown *** 3 1/2s in the dash i have 4"s that need to be put in the doors and I have a 1200W sony sub ( I know I know..) Id like to amp the sub itself but mono amps are rediculously expensive.. would it be more practical to get a mono amp for the sub and a 4 channel for the speakers or a 4 channel to run the 6 speakers and the sub? would 600W or more do fine? and would i only need one wiring kit if i go the 1 amp route? thanks alot, i dont really know what to do, i already wasted 100$ on the sub i need to make this count Thanks

personaly i would get a 4 channel for the speakers and a mono for the sub, i have a 1200 w RMS amp jusr for my door/rear speakers and they take every bit of it the subs i'll be getting are 800 RMS each, getting it all from www.cardiscountstereos.com realy good deals they have a 750 $ 2000RMS sub for 210 $ you will need one power wire to run to the back of the car, a ground, 2 sets of rca cables (one for each amp) and a capaciter, and a distripution block, takes one wire and splits it into more, run the power and ground to the capaciter then the wires from the cap. to the distribution block, then form the distribution block to the amps, then run the rca's the the amps and then speaker wire from the amps to the speakers, it'll take a while to do correctly but in the end if you get good componeds it's worth it

But how do you run those 6 interior speakers off of a 4-channel amp? Do you run the amp to the rear and door speakers and run the head unit "front" speaker outputs to the dash speakers?

And, can you just use a y-adapter on the single set of RCA line-outs from the head-unit so as to get RCA line-out to both of the amps?

Sorry for the newbee AV q's, but I've always wondered about this for my 5.0 LX vert.
