Well the Lanzar amp I have is a 4-channel, so I can use it for all my speakers in the car. Just so I know, how would I wire up my speakers to the 4-channel amp? Would I just get 2 mids and 2 tweeters and run each of them off a single channel? Not sure how it all works. Maybe I want to put 4 mids and 4 tweeters in my car, 2 of each in the front and 2 of each in the back. Could I run that many speakers from 4-channels?

When you buy a set of componet speakers, they generally come with a mid-woofer, tweeter, and a crossover. The crossover has 1 input with will come from your amp, and 2 outputs one of which is a high output (run to your tweeter) and a mid/low output (run to the mid-woofer) so no your 4 channel will power them fine, and if you want to not even purchase a new amp you could run the two front channels to the front componet speakers you would purchase or use, and run the rear channels to your subwoofer(s), bridging that rear channel would depend on what and how many subwoofers your running. And then if you want to utilize your rear speakers you could run them off your deck power. I myself never use rear speakers, but thats just my preference.
