The lights and everything work in the slave cd but when i put a cd in it.it just sits there for a second and spits it back out.I checked all the fuses and they are fine.Do i need a new cd player or is there something im missing?

 

is it a rewritable? my cd player doesnt accept those so call ford and ask.
