Hey a while ago i bought a sony gt300 deck from walmart. It has a front aux but i really want a rear aux to give it a more clean look. My friend has a similar sony deck without the front aux but the has a rear aux hooked up in the back into the "bus audio in". My deck also has a rear "bus audio in" but when i hook my mp3 player up to it i cant get it to play. In the owners manual on page 10 (link below) it says to go to cd and press mode to get to it, but pressing mode doesn't do a thing for me. And if i press source it only gives the option of cd/tuner/front aux. ive tried messing around everywhere but can figure it out. anyone own the same or similar deck and have any ideas? thnx

once the cable is plugged in, the deck should recognize that there is a changer plugged in and work. It doesn't toggle to a different input when you try it? Does it say cd changer on the deck?

 

when i plug the cable in nothing changes. ive tried turning it on and off and messing aroudn buttons and setting but i cant figure it out. The deck is supposed ot be able to input a cd/md changer but im having no luck. I might check up at walmart at the display one and see if that one can. If so i might exchange mine....unless any one has any other ideas/suggestions.
