Default The "aux" button?

What is the "Aux" button for on my '05 Shaker 1000? At first I thought it was for an ipod connection (Like my '06 Civic had), but I see no jack anywhere, and the book doesn't really say much about it.

The AUX button is for the optional satellite radio, HOWEVER, you can do what I did and plug an IPOD 2 Car adaptor in the back of your radio... hide your IPOD while it charges (mine is in the glove comp't) and control it from the radio. Getting behind the radio requires taking all trim from the center console up completely off, but it's pretty sweet now. The manufactr's website had the harness code you need. I got a local audio guy to give me the unit & harness for 150... some websites sell the unit for 150 then an extra 20 for the harness.

I have a 07 with the shaker 1000, and there is an auxillary jack in the center console, i plug my ipod in there and then it plays through the radio when the radio is set to aux.
