Default Install Xbox/dvd player in car.

Alright, here's my setup. I have a 7.5 inch screen. It is not a DVD player combo, or DVD navigation, just a simple pullout screen. I have in a separate pocket the CD player, which isn't necessarily hooked up to the screen in anyway other than sound. The screen has the S video hook up (white yellow red plugs), and the screen is powered. My brother always goes on long trips with me which is boring and he's young so since I had the screen I hooked up an xbox so he could play video games, watch movies. I got an adapter so I could plug into the 12 volt jack. It works just fine.

BUT, I don't want a wire just running random up along the car getting in the way of the stick, or of the stereo, and it just looks tacky. The reason I don't have a radar detector is just so I don't have wire running down and look "not stock". So I'm wondering if there is a way to run a power cord and connect to the battery of the car, or possibly some other way so I don't have to use the lighter or 12 volt jacks. Is it even possibly? Thanks.

if you are running the wires correctly under the carpet and plastic it will not be seen and not look tacky.

A super video connector looks like a small round(black) plug that has 4-6 pins inside of it. White, yellow and red are rca connectors.

You can run the wire to the battery but it is alot more work then needed.
