True if you could get the box in the trunk carpeted to match your trunk. Id say for a custom box with the proper air space like that, ur lookin at 300 bucks.

Waste of $150. I would agree for a shop to build a box/rear seat delete kit, anywhere from $250-350 if your looking for something that would create a way to show off your amp like flush mount it on the back where you could see it when you open the trunk, then you'd be in the $300-350 range. You want something that slams and will look good do 2-13.5 JLW1, or 10, 12 or 13.5 W3's if you have the money.

Dont get 12's. Im tellin you right now, 12's dont sound good in a coupe. They rattle the **** out of everything. Go with 10's and a amp with a peak rms the same as the max rms of each of the 10's combined.

I suggest going with 2 Punch 10's, and ANY punch 2 channel amplifier.

I plan on redoing every speaker in my car with punch, and hopefully the rear seat delete. Im paying my local audio shop, innovative audio, to build a custom rhino liner box for my trunk to go behind the rear seat delete. 300 bucks was their quote. So thats 300 bucks, + 150 for the seat delete.. 50 bucks for the amp kit + paying them to wire it.. 500 bucks plus all your speakers and amp cost.

I don't see why an audio shop couldn't build me a box to put behind the seat delete. Wouldn't that be possible. That way you got the badass sound and badass looks. I really hope this can be done what do yall think. Do yall think an audio shop might be able to build me the whole delete seat kit with an enclosure, that would be cool. Give me some feedback guys.
I agree that it would look real cool, but would not sound good. Even with the subs in a box behind seat-delete, the sound wouldnot thump as you would like(unless you are drivingVERY high power)You would also be advertising your system to anyone who looks inside your car.

Subs sound best when the front of the speaker face something. Putting them in the trunk on opposite sides of car facing each other, or in a box behind the seat-delete facing backwards would be best. Bass waves need to "collide" against an object to "hear" them. Try playing your home stereo, and stand between the speakers (better yet, turn them toward eachother a little). Now walk backward and you will hear the bass get deep at certain spots. This is because the "waves" are colliding at that location. The bass will "collide" all around the trunk, and will give good boom boom.
