Default Feedback problem

Hey stangbangers! I just upgraded my mid's and highs a little bit. I have changed the 5/7 and soon changing the tweets. I put on an ok multichannel kenwood amp. I am running a pioneer deck. The problem is that now when I have my car running I am picking up feedback from the engine. Noise through the speakers in correlation with the rpm range (loud whistling). I have reinforced the ground behind the deck and that helped a little bit. I fooled around with the amp and found that when I have the input freq. turned up, the feeback is really bad. If I tune it down a little, the noise fades away and you wouldn't notice it. The whole point of throwing a mid's high's amp was the get a little more kick and the result isn't that great with the input freq. tuned down I am at a loss to try and trouble shoot this problem. I was thinking about putting a extra noise filter somewhere in the wiring, but idk. Below I have included a short list of troubleshooting I have tried. Any help would be great, if you need more specifics on equip or anything please ask

Shot this Troubleshoot:
Seperated the RCA's from the power wire.
Reinforced the amps' and deck's ground wires.
Fiddled with the amp settings (noise filter is *on on the amp)
Tied up any loose wires behind the deck (dunno if it helps but what the heck)

if you havent already tried it,run a very small, like 20ga wire from the outer sheethof one of the rca wires going into the back of the deck(negative part of the rca connection) to the deck itself. This sometimes cures feedback issues. i know it worked on my previous car wheni had feedback issues, and it was also on a pioneer deck this problem occured. i heard this was a problem on a lot of pioneer decks.

What year stang?

did you use any of the factory wiring for your speakers or amp install? If you did you will need to possibly bypass the factory amplified system.

I would almost still guarantee it is one of your grounding points. Make sure you use sufficient awg wire and that the ground location is paint-free (bare metal).

The grounds are bare metal. I have yet to try the rca trick. That will be done tomorrow and we will see the result. thnx for the help so far. The car is a 2001. I have ran all new wiring for the speakers.

Also make sure all your grounds are in ONElocation if possible. You can get a ground "loop" sometimes. I like the idea of a ground to the RCA, so hopefully that or this will work. You most assuredly have a ground problem, you just need to find it.

Good luck. Jaz
