Default Headlight wiring problem...

whats up guys? i installed some headlights and need to tap into my side corner bulbs for a power feed, but im wondering which wire to tap into? it has 3 wires, 1 is black, 1 is grey, 1 is white with a blue stripe, im almost positive white is power and black is ground but id hate to tap into it and screw something up, anyone know for sure? im sure someone has messed around with this before, and by the way it is a 2003 gt

You need to use one of those testers with a sharp point (drawing blank on name at the moment) and a light bulb in handle. You "stab" the point into the wire to make contact thenturn lights on to see when bulb in handle lights.

You may need to have help so you can try blinkers and lights to confirm what wire stays "hot" when lights on NOT blinkers (blinker wire will of course "flash" the bulb). One wire is for ground, one is parking light and one should be for blinker.

yes a test light is what you need. they are available at any auto parts store for undre $10 and no toolbox should be with out one.

of course now that I think about it, ford ALWAYS likes to use brown for the parking lights if there is one. Test that one first for some reason for and a couple other automakers like to use brown. That should be the one but test it.
