Mach 1000 Vs. 460 Headunit question.

Is the mach 1000 head unit any different from mach 460?
Are there any special controls\menus for the extra amps and subs?

I'm not sure of all the difference, as i don't own a mach 460. But on my 1000 there is three modes of audio distribution: "All seats", "driver seat" and "Mach 1000" mode, which cranks up the power to the subs. Mach 1000 is also a 6 disk changer, dont know about the 460.
