I agree, I would put two of those baby's in there. One for each sub would help alot

 

the amp may be bad, but for a budget and first time system im just looking for pretty good sound, nothing awesome or really loud, if it matters the music played is a mix of rap and metal, will this amp and sub be alright and work without blowing up

The amp is a 2 channel rated at 4 ohms bridged at 480 watts.

The total impedance of the subs is 2 ohms based on wiring inside the enclosure.

In order to match impedences and get the best amp for you application I would recommend a mono amp. Profile makes a AP1000M that puts out 500 watts at 2 ohms. Ikesound.com has them cheap with a warranty.

Profile amps are cheap and look like poo, but they actually produce thier rated power and are pretty darn solid.
