Default alpine help!!

Ok I just bought my mustang from a dealer it was a trade in and it has some kind of alarm installed. On the alarm head unit it says alpine SEC 8063. It has a horn under the hood that seems to be still installed, it also has an lcd inside the car that shows the time and date and tells me if a door is open, but the car came with my factory remote that still works. The alarm head unit is still wired up with two othe ports that has nothing attacted to them on says "MAYDAY" and the other says "NAV". I wanted to know if anyone can tell me about this alarm and is it worth trying to get it working, I can't find anything about it on alpine's website.
Thanks.

the old 8063 was a good alarm, most of alpines alarms were right until they quit making them. If you do not have a the remote unfortunatly they are some of the most difficult to reprogram as there is a chip in the main box you will have to replace to get a new remote to communicate.
