This is the trunk of my 01 GT, removed the spare tire and use the wheelwell, as a box. batting and dynamat sealed the well, 10" MTX Sub, and a TC6001 powering just the sub, sounds amazingly good.

 

And you still have room for a spare tire on road trips.
I want to do this same set-up for my 93 vert. But with two subs instead.

 

I think that setup is great, but where again would you put the spare on road trips?

 

Thats the downfall is the spare, is eliminated, so its bascially a take your chances kind of thing, though, for me personally this is not my first choice for a "roadtrip" kind of car

 

I agree 110%. I bought some W7s from a competitor shop when they went out of business and sold them to some rich kid that insisted that JL is the ****. Then I bought some more Solo X's. I have an Incriminator 40.1 on order right now. They are bad as hell.
