Sounds like low impedence to me. Maybe PReal can assist...

I need specs of subs and amp. I would bet your dropping your impedence to low as stated above.

600 is plenty for 2 12's. It all depends on the equipment and installation.

If i had to guess im thinkin you have the connections between the subs and amp wired improperly and causing an ohmload to great for the amp to handle.

Actually it is quite opposite.

The lower the impedence the larger the power output from the amp. If you are exceeding the power output of the amp through low impedence, most amps will shut off due to a thermal switch. The extra power caused an increased amount of heat that cannot be dissipated by the heatsink and therefore can damage your amp.

Duals are never a beast for the price. You could have bought much better over the web.

One of the subs is wired backwards. Check your outputs I guarantee one had the - on where the + is supposed to be. Itll work at SUPER low volumes, but as soon as you turn it up it cuts out. Ive seen a bunch of times. I used to work at a sound shop where kids would bring their cars in with everything installed and they couldnt figure out why it either sounded like absolute **** or 1 sub worked the other didnt, etc, etc. Connections were on backwards.
