i have a quick question, i have read threads saying that the factory amps will not work with an aftermarket headunit unless rewiring is done all over..i was a victim..hahah well my question is..will this solve my problem of not getting any mids and lows out of my stock speakers?

That little harness is just an adapter to give you bare wires and RCA plugs to connect your new head unit. Techincally, you don't HAVE to use one, but sure makes is a lot easier . You should also be able to pick one up at a local stereo shoppe. I would recommend doing so, as these pepes do this all the time and can give you some pointers as well as adapter plate so new deck fits dash well. I just changed my '02 head unit a few weeks back and was a piece of apple pie, with whipped cream (low fat of course, as eI am watching my figure) and a cherry on top.

yeah i found a cheaper one on a different site.. for 20 bucks its on its way well the indash is already but i think the stereo shop just custom wired it with another harness hoping this will fix my problem. so what you guys are saying is with this harness i should be stillable to use my factory amps?

check out page 2 of my sig and it shows how to integrate into the mach, be happy to answer questions.....

The lack of mids and lows is because of this although make sure your amp turn on and remote turn on are connected to the deck(blue and blue with white). If they are not then your amps are not on, neither are your speakers/subs. It is also helpfull to add some capacitors to the tweeters up front as they blow easily with little bass........
