good amp??
i have one alpine type R 12" in my fox, and my amp blew and im looking fora good amp to use..
i found this one on ebay and im not sure if its a good amp for my sub
the sub is rated at 500rms 1500max, thats about all i know about it, i dont know anything about ohms or anything
so is this a good amp for my sub?? (or could someone recommend me a good one thats not too expensive)

Power Acoustik is junk. I went through 4 pairs of their subwoofers before I relized they had a 3 month break in period, before I could drive them even 3/4 their total output. I would expect the same quality from all their products.

Use the ratio guide. $1 per watt is an excellent amp. That amp your looking at is about $1 per 100 watts. This Orion one is $1 per 2 watts. You'll see some amps out there like McIntosh for example where you'll be paying $4 per watt. but try and stick to .50 - $1.00 (or greater) per watt.
