Default Gauge colors

Ok so do our gauges in 99-04 mustang have bulbs in them or do they run off of some other source? i was thinking it would be cool to switch the bulbs on everything and make it look different. Thanks for any help.

Yes. there are many bulbs behind the guages that illuminate them. I have a Saleen, and the guages are blue with red needles. Are the stock guages plain white?

The stock gauges are greed. I think the same color as the saleen gauges except for they are white face gauges

OK. They are probably green b/c there is a colored "cap" over the light bulbin the dash (you will need to confirm) The trick is to replace the "green" cap with a different color (I would suggest the color you want to see on the guages )

You may try Tap Plastics as they have lots of different plastic things, and can assist in your ideas. If you can take the dash-pod to the store, that would be a big help for getting ideas going.
