Default yet another mach 460 question.but different

im literally in the middle of wiring up the harness i got to swap out the 6disc for an aftermarket deck.

i bought the Metra 70-5700 wire harness which is supposed to be for the mach460/1000
the only thing im stuck on is the AMP GROUND wires. there are 2 in the 8 pin connector and 1 on the 16 pin connector

do those go together to each other since the radio only has the AMP + but no GRD coming out of it?

also just to double check myself. the 8 pin connector wire get wired with the matching ones from the 16 pin and they go to the radio harness..right?

well i hooked them together and everything turned on and worked. the fade/bal was all correct

BUUUT... everything sounded like complete *** and when your turned the radio off there was a loud thump sound coming from the rears.

is this from an installation error or is the mach 460 just that incopatible with aftermarket decks?

sorry, didn't see this. Describe "***" a little better and I will help ya. The turn on and off thump is normal and while annoying does not hurt anything. Page 2 of my sig shows how I did my 94 with a mach.
