Go away
ALl you new Type R **** jugglers. Why are there 3 different threads about how hard the Type R pounds?
Listen, the Type R subwoofer is a horrible driver. Stay away from it, and all that Best buy/Circuit City/Wal-Mart has to offer.
I take it back, if you want to buy any sort of harness, or wiring kits fromany of the above stores. Then by all means go ahead, they are just as good as any car audio retailer.

Seriously people, go to a real car audio store that has some trophies in the cabinet and they will not offer you the alpine type R as the best sub ever.

RE: Go away
I just installed an all alpine system for my friend with a 12" Type R. It was ridiculously quiet even on max gain and max bass settings from the HU. More of a hearing than a feeling. I really don't know what im talking about. lol
