i've got a buddy who has one that i can get from him for a good price. how hard is it to swap the stock headunit in an 02 stang for an aftermarket one?

i'm a truck guy and have no idea abotu some of this car stuff

 

anyone? what all do i need for an aftermarket headunit install? the harness and the install kit?

 

I have an '02 but decided against the flip out monitor b/c I am impatient and like to be a little more stealth. The flip out monitor should fit within the stock space after an adapter is installed for the modern aftermarket din. That is to say, an adapter kit goes in after the stock HU comes out. This will give you a little pocket stash for your drugs and roll of dead presidents, and space for the new HU. The flip out monitor should come out of the face and then pop up and clear your crack pipe without a prob.
