Default Mounting sub enclosure

Hey all! Do any of you have a clever way of mounting a sub enclosure in the trunk? I was planning to use some angle brackets, but the board over the spare tire is really flimsy and I don't want to drive a screw too deep and puncture my spare.

Any suggestions? I want a clean looking install, so I've been bangin my head tryin to figure this out.

Thanks!

Create a board made of 1/2" MDF, thats cutout like the floor of your trunk carpet it to it basically looks like it's no even there. Mount your enclosure to that anyway you feel comfortable. Then get some angle brackets, bend them your own way to run to existing holes/bolts that are already in your trunk behind your paneling etc so that it's mounted to the body of your car. This way it's secure, harder to steal and it's also now covered under your insurance up to a certain amount, unless you option for additional coverage. Mine was an up to $1000 coverage on aftermarket accesories so long as it's mounted to the chassis or body of the car.
