Default Not sensing enough?

I hooked up the hi level sensing connector and it isn't coming in real clear. It isn't keeping the amp on continuously. It cuts in and out with enough bass or volume. i have it hooked to the blackwhite wires and black green wires in both amps. what is the problem with this?

Most of those adapaters boxes have gain settings. Have you tried adjusting them? Or are the line level wires going straight in to your amp?

i was just using the line from the amp. So i connected the remote wire too (which was real easy) and now it works and sounds great. Thanks for all your help!
