so exactly wat kind of installation would make a sony xplod 1300W 12" overcome the roar of a 302 with dual flowmaster hushpower II exhaust? i want to make a custom trunk application.... thanks

probably not a whole lot, maybe a nice big ported box like 3.5ft^3 and the biggest amp it will handle plus sound deadening i suggest:[/align][/align]1.New sub !!!!! + new amp[/align]or[/align]2. Lots and lots of sound deadening[/align]

Sound deadening would really be the best place to start.

I would love to see that sony take 1300 watts. It wouldn't last long.

I would do passenger cabin including floorboard, doors, firewall, and quarters. Then continue to the trunk.
