Headunit / Dash Illumination Help!
I took out my factory headunit a long time ago, and replaced it myself with an aftermarket. Yesterday, I replaced that aftermarket. Everthing works except my dash lights.
The head unit hasa Orange w/white Stripe that is suppose to be connected to the Illumination wire. The wire harness has a solid orange illumination wire, and a orange w/black stripe Negative Dimmer wire. What needs to go where to make my dash lights work?
The solid orange in the wire harness is what needs power. I have it temporary hooked up to the red 12v accessory power supply, so it turns off when I turn my car off. But that way, I cant dim my dash, and plus its not how its meant to be set up.
Thanks in advance!

I did find a blown fuse.
What am I suppose to hook up the Negative Dimmer wire to? And the Illumination wire? (Both of these on the ford wire harness)
The only thing I have on the headunit is Illumination.
Wheres the dimmer wire go? Ground?
