True but why buy a 300 hifonics amp that might last a year without any issues or 600 for a US 2000X that will last many many years. I dont feel like buying a new amp every year.

Hifonics says 1800rms at 1ohm. Japan Made.
US AMPS says 2000rms at 1ohm can take up to 16volts CEA cert. US Made.
Looks like an easy choice.

US amps is quality stuff, but I greatly dislike what they have done to RE's prices.

I have seen some OLD hifonics amps that are still performing well. I have installed a few in friends cars and they are still going strong. I don't believe it is a correct assumption to say hifonics amps will only last a year.
