Default adding door speakers

My 91 gt came stock w/o door speakers but it has the 2 rears and 2 in the dash. What's the best way to add them? I have a pioneer deck that's only a year old.

the wire should already be back there as well.. your best bet would be to get an amp to drive them but you can run them off of the deck depending on what kind it is.

What is in the car now?

I didn't see any wires but ill check again. there was plastic covering the whole. Right now I got what I think are stock dash speakers and some newer 8x6s in the back so 4 total. there is an amp and sub in the back too but i disconnected the sub since i hate big bass.

Make a pod for your kick panels of on your doors, get a four channel amp, and get componant speakers up front and two ways in the rear.

i am now 70% sure that if you dig around in that door that the speaker wires will be there...... It is probably taped up and not easily seen but keep looking.

I don't know if I would recommend the pods myself. You have spots to mount speakers already.

Now we need to find out if you have an stock amp in the car. Look under the deck for a octagonally shapped box with a bunch of holes in it.

Sorry, I have no expereince with anything newer then a 65 mustang, so I am cluelss on the wire stuff.

I would follow ttocs advice and get a decent pair of fronts powered by an amp. You might even be able to use the amp connected to your sub. If your HU has front preouts it would be really easy to wire everything up, even adding new speaker wire. The hardest part on most cars is getting from the body to the doors.

With a budget we can set you up.

good, no amp.

As he said you may be able to use your sub amp that you are not currently using to drive these speakers.
what kind of amp is it?

The amp is pretty large, i'll have to check again what brand it was though. I really only need to know where to connect the wires. I don't want to invest in an amp. I keep my music quiet for the most part.
