If you add that amp and a decent sub you'll barely hear your Mach system.

It's almost exactly halfway down in this thread look for the big red wirting where it says, how do I hook up my Mach 460 to my new headunit.

Does the wiring harness for the 2001 GT Mach 460 have theRCA plugs for the back of the radioon it too? TheharnessI just bought doesn't andI am having a horrible time hooking it up. I thinkI am going to return it and buy one from the site above. Sorry to jump in your thread butI wanted to refernce the picture above.

I just looked on cardomain for the 2001 harness. The harness on cardomain and the one I bought by metra are quite different looking. It doesn't have RCA jacks though. I am going to return the metra and buy the one on cardomain, it looks likebetter quality. Guess I answered my own question. Thanks anyway.

Suprisingly enough I am stilll alittle confused. Every site has a different picture of the harness. Can the 2001 GT w/ Mach 460 use a harness that has RCA jacks?

The one I posted right? And yes as long as it's a 460 system and your head unit has front and rear outputs.

Yes, I was talking about the harness you posted in the information post. I am going to pick up the harness today hopefully. Thanks for your help.

Not a problem, let me know how it goes! Or if you have any other problems.

Ightt now im getting a little confused again. Iknow i need the harness you posted earlier. But dont i need to get the power harness and the speaker harnesses? does one of the plugs from the factory HU plug into the amp that is in the dash? If it does do i need to use that amp anymore? I just need to know what exactly the other two harnesses are that i need.

When you get that harness that has he rca plugs on it you no longer need a harness that is for you speakers, the white, grey, purple, green harness. All you need is the rca one and then a harness to give your headunit power. It should be on with yellow, red, black and a remote wire (blue).
