adding door speakers to 03 with mach
i have some ? about 03 stang with mach system car audio.i was wonderin if i could change out the speakers and put after market just rite in.an the rear deck wat would i have to do?lookin to run a amp off of the speakers.if some1 can help me that would be great.

the top tweeters run off of the decks power, the sub at the bottom has an amp. If you replace the sub and keep the factory deck you will need an amp. If you have replaced the deck already then you are fine.

those are great speakers. it is only a matter of minutes before one of the many JL haters on here starts spouting about how horrible they are, and in only a matter of seconds after that another few will chime in about how oval speakers are worse then round ones.
There are better speakers then JL for the money but those are a great speaker set and you would be happy with them. What are you wanting out of the system, how much do you want to spend, what is in the car now?

JL is worse then pyle!!!!! JK.
As ttocs said, you can do much better then JLfor the money. Personally, I have heard the difference between ovals and rounds, and rounds sound better.
Answer the questions on scope and budget and a number of people can make suggestions. I'm always a fan of 6.5 comps in the front powered by a 2 channel amp, Even if you do spend too much buying JL!
