Default Need help..

Sorry guys, i'm kinda a newb when it comes to systems and stuff but i do know a little. I have an 07 mustang with the shaker 500 system and was thinking about putting some subs in it. Now is it recommended that I use a new head unit or can I still use the factory? I know that aftermarket ones are better but I have the line-in jack i dont wanna mess up or anything (i'm not 100% sure u can put that on a different head unit). Any suggestions?

A new headunit would make a world of difference when considering adding sub(s), and amp(s).

And yes you can get headunit's that have an imput for an AUX in, especially ones that have an iPod interface in paticular.

you can go either rout. If you want to keep the stock radio then take a look at

Replacing the deck on that car in not too hard to do and you will get a better sound out of it. its up to you.
