Default AC problem after head unit install

I have a 2006 Mustang V6 and I have my new Clarion DFZ675MC DD head unit installed last Saturday from an installer.
After the install my AC controls quit working!
Is it just a simple blown out fuse or the fan blower failure. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

You might want to check your fuses and also make sure you taped into the correct wires.

I brought my Mustang to the dealership today and they told me it was the fuse box that's busted! I was wondering how that happened when it's ONLY the AC control that's not working.

I have the head unit installed by a professional installer and I did the MTX Thunderlink 300 watts sub install which is really very basic wiring.

Will my warranty cover for the damage since I only have 21k miles on my one year old Mustang?

When I was installing a head unit in my 05, I forgot to plug in one harness controlling the fan in the A/C system. Kinda sounds like what you were talking about. If so, itjust plugs right into the fan control switch.

I have seen a fuse box that was "busted". It was melted to crap from someone bypassign a fuse and getting a short. It wasn't very pretty.

It sounds like you might be getting taken for a spin.
