Honestly, you can do much better for a little more money. For $100 total, I would run a single 12.

You will need an external amp, wiring kit, and line output converter to make it work in your car.

Sony makes some of the crappiest audio on the market, even tho you dont want a lot of bass they still sound like crap, I would get anything over sony, if I were you I would just get 1 12" an itll be louder and sound a lot better than the sony, check out woofersetc.com they have a lot of selection and discount prices...

Aren't those $45 at Best Buy too? You can find alot of basic subs, for the same price. Right off hand I know you can buy a 10" TMA sub on eBay for $35. Far better than the Sony.

i try to stay away from subwoofers that are sold at walmart

that being said off the top of my head kicker subs are decent for the momey. some of the previous year model 10 and 12" cvr's are really nicely priced.

I would run something liek a single 12 inch mb quart, elemental designs K series, dimaond audio M6, or a number of woofers from tc sounds.

The biggest question I have...

What is your budget for entire system? I'll give some recomendations.
