I'm kind of partial to the appearance of the Pionner head unit. I think it looks a little better.

Knowing that I wouldn't be using half the stuff the D3 is capable of using, I wouldn't even care about having to buy extra stuff. You may be concerned with it if you would use them, but its not a big deal to me. I don't use Bluetooth and I already have the XM tuner. I can't think of anything else I need. I don't even bother with the iPod since all of my daily trips are over by the time I figure out what I want to hear.

Well I would be using the Bluetooth, GPS, and Ipod for sure. I have a good 30 min. drive to work. The GPS I wouldnt need everyday but would def like to have. The only thing that made me partial to the Valore was the fact that the maps were on SD cards, not discs. That's a plus.
